All week I’ve been giving you the science behind recovery. Today I want to show you what it looks like in practice.

These are three real protocols shared by members of our community. Names changed, but the details are accurate.

———————————————

CASE 1: ROTATOR CUFF STRAIN (MIKE, 38)

———————————————

Injury: Partial thickness supraspinatus tear, 6 months of failed PT.

Protocol: BPC-157 500mcg/day subQ near shoulder, TB-500 2mg 2x/week for first 4 weeks then 1x/week. 15g collagen + 100mg vitamin C pre-rehab. Eccentric external rotation work 3x/week.

Timeline: Noticeable pain reduction at week 2. Full overhead pressing (light) by week 6. Back to normal training loads by week 10.

His take: “The biggest change was adding the collagen pre-rehab. I’d been doing BPC alone for a month before with okay results. Adding the other layers is what made it click.”

———————————————

CASE 2: PATELLAR TENDINOPATHY (SARAH, 42)

———————————————

Injury: Chronic jumper’s knee, 14 months. Pain with stairs and any squatting movement.

Protocol: BPC-157 250mcg 2x/day subQ near the patellar tendon. No TB-500. Heavy slow resistance (HSR) protocol for quads 3x/week — leg press and Spanish squats. Prioritized 8+ hours of sleep.

Timeline: Pain dropped from 7/10 to 3/10 by week 3. Could squat to parallel pain-free by week 8. Full depth squats by week 12.

Her take: “I wish someone had told me about eccentric/HSR work a year ago. The BPC helped with the pain early on, but the loading protocol is what actually remodeled the tendon.”

———————————————

CASE 3: ACHILLES TENDINOPATHY (DAN, 51)

———————————————

Injury: Insertional Achilles tendinopathy, 8 months. Morning stiffness, pain with running.

Protocol: BPC-157 500mcg/day + TB-500 2.5mg 2x/week for 6 weeks. Alfredson eccentric heel drops (3x15, twice daily). Added GHK-Cu topically over the Achilles (for its role in collagen remodeling and tissue repair signaling). Collagen + vitamin C daily.

Timeline: Morning stiffness resolved by week 2. Could jog pain-free by week 5. Returned to full running volume by week 9.

His take: “The GHK-Cu was an interesting addition. Can’t say definitively it was the difference-maker, but my recovery was faster than the first time I tried BPC alone.”

The pattern across all three:

Nobody used peptides alone. Every successful protocol combined targeted compounds with progressive loading, nutrition fundamentals, and sleep. That’s the 3-layer stack from Wednesday’s email in action.

These are the kind of conversations happening daily in our Discord community. People posting their protocols, sharing bloodwork, asking questions, and updating each other on progress. If you want to see more of this — or you’ve got a protocol you want a second opinion on — come hang out. It’s free and it’s the most active biohacking community I’ve seen.

That’s a wrap for the recovery deep-dive this week. Next week we’re shifting gears — stay tuned.

Have a good weekend.
